This unit will allow you to get an understanding of double entry bookkeeping and the basic accounting principles.

Bookkeeping Controls

This unit will allow you to get an understanding of accounting for payroll, trial balances and posting journals to correct errors.

Elements of Costing

This unit will give you a basic introduction to costing methods, whilst building a sound foundation needed for more complex costing and management accounting methods.

Using Accounting Software

This unit will teach you how to carry out typical bookkeeping transactions and tasks using accounting softwares. This is vital in a modern business environment.

Work Effectively in Finance

This unit will allow you to develop the professional skills and behaviours needed in the workplace, this unit is set in the context of the finance function but many of the skills mentioned are transferable to other working environments.
