Role Overview

Based in Nottingham, Tennants a manufacturer and distributor of automotive & traffic management products is looking for an apprentice who is enthusiastic and keen to join the team! Study for your Level 3 AAT qualification with EMA and complete duties supporting the finance team.

Roles & Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop with a supportive team to guide you through your studies whilst working closely with your manager who will mentor you with the aim to progress within our company. Duties will include:

To assist in processing of purchase and sales invoices as well as payments.
Accurately maintain confidential company information and records.
Liaise with other departments to ensure the efficient operations of the business.
Support in credit control and setting up credit insurance.
Support in petty cash and banking
Support in daily bank & credit card reconciliations.
Support to keep accurate stock movements, stocktake and valuations.
Support in weekly payroll.
Support in providing accurate information for product costs and pricing
Processing transactions on systems such as Sage 200, Excel and Customer Relation Management Systems
Providing support to other members of the team including Finance Director.
Administration duties required by the department along with any other ad hoc duties.
